Interference is a drone piece I've been working on for a little over a month. I had samples from a pipa I had bought me a few months ago lying around and finally decided to put them to good use.
I took those samples (featured in an older video of mine) and changed my generative setup in such a way that more of the original sample could be heard.
In addition, I took a high frequency sample and put it through a tape echo. I continuously changed the delay time throughout the recording, which in hand changed the modulation of the frequency as it played over
the drones.
Nearly everything was manipulated with Ableton Live using a modified Akai MPD32.
